Disney World is the happiest place on Earth for a reason. Even the grumpiest member of the family has something to look forward when visiting the theme parks, especially after 2019! Disney has confirmed numerous new attractions and shows that will be added by the end of the year, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them all.
Epcot Forever
Illuminations- Reflections of Earth has been one of Epcot’s landmarks. The show has been running for about 20 years, and it will be replaced by a new fireworks spectacle that will include special effects, vintage music, and even jet skis! The new show, named Epcot Forever, will debut on October 1st, 2019.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is well known for its replica of Hollywood’s The Chinese Theatre. The 22-minute-long ride featured classic movies such as Casablanca and Singing in the Rain. After nearly 30 years since its first debut, The Great Movie Ride will now showcase Mickey’s evolution. Expect a lot of Goofy, Donald, Pluto, and Minnie when entering this ride!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Similar to Toy Story Land, Star Wars is getting its own 14-acre land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new themed area will open in August and will feature everything from new rides to shops and restaurants. Your inner Jedi will not be able to contain itself! We are just sad that Disney lost its chance to open this new section on May 4th, as it has been chosen as Star Wars day for obvious reasons.

Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration
Because we can’t get enough of Mickey and Minnie, the Magic Kingdom is adding a new show featuring two of Disney’s original cast members. The new show also brings new merchandise and specialty food and beverages to the park. Sadly, this show only lasts until September of this year, making it a limited 9-month celebration.

Which attraction are you looking forward to the most?
