Another Japanese castle that provides amazing views of the cherry blossoms is Himeji Castle in Hyōgo. Just like Fukuyama, you can take in the picturesque pink trees with an amazing backdrop but with one added bonus. At Himeji Castle, you can approach from the water as the castle overlooks from a hilltop. The castle itself provides visitors with stunning views of both Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the best way to take it all in is by boat on the canal.
