Are you still upset that you never received your Hogwarts acceptance letter? Well, you’re not alone. Although we didn’t get the chance to walk the hallowed halls of this wizarding school, we didn’t get to meet Dumbledore in the flesh, and we didn’t even get to take a trip to Hogsmeade, that doesn’t mean we have to miss out on the magic. If you’re a Harry Potter fans, there are certain destinations around the world that will provide you with all of the magic you could possibly need.

Alnwick Castle, England
If you cast your minds back to Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, you might remember Harry and the gang taking their very first flying lesson with Madam Hooch. If you want to recreate this scene and ride around on a giant stick, Alnwick Castle will have your back. That’s because the cast made their way to this castle to film this specific scene! Just don’t let Malfoy anywhere near your Remembrall.

Black Park Country Park, England
Although the Forbidden Forest was forbidden for a reason, there’s a high chance that you always wanted to go in there anyway. After all, what could be cooler than chilling with unicorns, centaurs, and adorable giants? You can actually make this a reality (minus the magical creatures) because the Forbidden Forest scenes were filmed in the Black Park Country Park in England.

The Elephant House, Scotland
We have J.K Rowling to thank for bringing Harry Potter into our lives, but if you wanted to see where the magic took its form, it’s best to make your way to The Elephant House tearooms in Scotland. This is where Joanne started jotting down notes on Hogwarts and the Wizarding World, and where many of her characters came to life. Fans of the series have since scribbled thank you notes and wonderful anecdotes on the walls to honor this.

Kings Cross Train Station, England
Next time you find yourself in London, make sure you go to Kings Cross Train Station. This station is a big deal in both the books and the movies, and the station has given fans exactly what they need to celebrate this. You can pose in front of the disappearing trolley at Platform 9 ¾, and you can even pick up some wizarding goods in the official gift shop.
So, which one are you checking out first?
