All these arrangements are made possible thanks to Welcome to Presicce-Acquarica, the new community program of the town.
The Vision
If you decide to go for the offer, be prepared to do a little work after moving in because the houses in question have been abandoned for some years and you have to take up the responsibility of a renovation project. But that can be fun, right? The program will cover 50% of the total purchasing and renovation cost, up to €30,000 maximum. Also, it’ll help to make the historical center of Presicce alive once again with new neighborhoods, a goal this new community program is aiming for. Alfredo Palese, the local councilor shared that it’s really heartbreaking to witness how the old small towns and districts full of wonderful architecture, unique art, and rich history, are slowly emptying. So, through this Welcome to Presicce-Acquarica program, they have decided to try to fill the historical center’s empty homes with new residents. And with the quintessential European vibe and artfully decorated streets of this Italian town, that goal doesn’t seem like a long stretch!
